We have been disscusing three very important principles from ESL/EFL Teaching book. These conceps are "Teaching through Content", "Social Interaction" and "Having Faith in our Students". I have found that these concects meaningful for me on the grounds that it can be very possitive have them in every single class that I will give to my students.
You can have your students engaged all the time if you teach them something that is meaningful for them. Besides, if you make students working in groups you will help them to be more enthusiastic about what they are learning. If you consider that your students are the best in the subject you are teaching, you will help in the engagement of the whole class. The three concepts are included in this paragraph. I think that can be useful in the learning process and of course to improve the environment in the classroom.
As a future teacher, I will create group activities where the main topic is related to the students' interests. In addition to that I will be guiding the students in order to make them feel that I'm interested in the topic too.
